From well-maintained walking and riding tracks, exercise equipment, to a fenced play area for kids, this reserve provides a rejuvenating environment for all ages. It's a perfect spot for a picnic, with clean seating areas and a calming backdrop of water birds and wildlife. Dogs are welcome on leash, making it a popular choice for pet owners. Notably, a dog-friendly beach is located at nearby Wivenhoe. The reserve also houses a small playground and public toilets for convenience. The presence of a clear stream running through the area, along with ample parking space, adds to its charm. Though it's most peaceful during weekdays, the park's inviting atmosphere and amenities make it an ideal destination for a family outing or a leisurely stroll.
